International Photo Contest – May 4th, 2018

The 8th Annual International Photo Contest conducted from Tampa, Florida at the Museum of Photographic Arts otherwise known as FMoPA.org.  The museum is located in Rivergate Plaza, Waterfront Arts District.  They have announced an open call for entries. It’s international and is open to everyone around the world. Use your smartphone or your $4,000 digital SLR.

Anyone of any level of experience can participate. The call for entries has begun and this large museum in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area on the West Coast of Florida will take the winning photos and have them framed and presented in the community gallery between June 1st, 2018 through August 17, 2018, with a formal opening on June 22nd from 5-7pm.

Categories have 1st prize of $100, and 2nd and 3rd prizes.  One will be awarded Best of  “Competition” for a $1000. prize, and “Peoples Choice”, decided by public votes on the competition website.  Judging will be technical excellence, composition, originality, overall impact and artist merit.
